PX Carbon 2026
How current the bike is — newer chassis, motor and battery score higher. 10 = brand-new, 0 = legacy.
Mature Avinox lightweight all-rounder

The Amflow PX Carbon 2026 is a full-power carbon eMTB built around the new DJI Avinox M2S drive unit, with 150 mm rear travel, a 160 mm fork and a permanently integrated 700 Wh battery. Headline numbers tell the story: 150 Nm peak torque, a claimed 1500 W in Boost, a 21.4 kg quoted weight and a 64.2 degree head angle that pairs with a reach range of 455 to 528 mm across four sizes. The community verdict is that this is the most mature Avinox bike yet, with @BikingBad noting the second-generation system feels far more polished than the original.
Drive system and range. The Avinox M2S is rated 250 W nominal with a claimed 1500 W peak and 150 Nm of torque in Boost, dropping to a 130 Nm continuous figure in Turbo. @robikinkela reports ECO mode delivers a usable 40 Nm and 350 W ceiling, which is plenty for long pedalable links between descents. The 700 Wh FP700 battery is integrated and not removable, charged by a 12 A 508 W fast charger per @BikingBad. Forum debate has been spiky on the non-removable pack, with @B-man arguing big-vert riders need swappable cells, while @Wojtek counters that a removable cradle adds weight and shrinks range. Treat 700 Wh as a one-tank-only deal.
Geometry and handling. A single 64.2 degree head angle runs across the range, slacker than the 65 degree trail norm but not extreme. Reach steps cleanly from 455 mm on M to 478 mm on L, 503 mm on XL and 528 mm on XXL, with wheelbase climbing 1231 mm to 1322 mm. The four chainstay flip-chip positions let you set 438 mm or 451 mm regardless of frame size, and the bike ships happy on full 29 or mullet without affecting CS or BB choices. Forty geometry configurations sound gimmicky, but in practice you have five head-angle inserts, two BB heights and four CS positions to actually dial in.
Build and value. Two trims and a tight ladder. The base at £6499 brings a FOX 36 Performance with GRIP damper, Float X Performance shock, Magura Gustav Pro four-piston brakes on 203 mm 2.5 mm rotors and a SRAM S1000 Eagle Transmission. The Pro at £8999 swaps in FOX Factory Kashima 36 with GRIP X2, Factory Float X and SRAM X0 AXS Transmission. Brakes and wheels are unchanged, which makes the base look like the value pick if you can live without Kashima.
Community-verified strengths. Owners praise the smoothness of the second-generation Avinox power delivery, with @BikingBad highlighting the 2-inch OLED top-tube screen and dual wireless bar remotes as a step above most rivals. The 21.4 kg quoted weight punches well below typical 150 Nm full-power rivals. Geometry adjustability earns repeated praise: most riders pick their setup once and never touch it again, but the option is there.
Caveats and known gripes. Three flags. First, the integrated 700 Wh pack means no field swaps, full stop. Second, dropper compatibility is tight: @NicolasC76 found the size L seat tube offers only 270 mm of clearance, short of the 292.7 mm a 175 mm Fox Transfer Neo Factory needs. Third, the Magura Gustav Pro rotors are a proprietary 2.5 mm thickness and the rear disc doubles as the speed sensor, which @NicolasC76 flags as a constraint when swapping to aftermarket brakes.
Verdict. If you want the most powerful, lightest, most adjustable full-power eMTB on sale and you can stomach a fixed battery and proprietary brake rotors, this is the bike to beat. Currently shipping in Europe and Australia with no confirmed US date and ongoing FCC complications for DJI imports stateside. Production status is current.
